Who will Attend?    


The Salon & Spa Professionals Industry Expo is open to all licensed industry professionals, students & educators as well as those who are considering enrolling in a NYS accredited program and NYS accredited instructors and teachers. Salon & Spa Professionals of NYS, along with our members & industry partner organizations and media partners are marketing this event using a multi-tiered strategy to ensure a great turnout throughout the day. Tickets will be sold prior to the event as well as at the door.


Important Expo Information


SSPNYS Expo will operate without a block option which will allow focus on individual suppliers, manufacturers, products and other industry suppliers & service providers. SSPNYS reserves the right to decline exhibitor registration it deems irrelevant or improper for the purposes of this expo.

*Non-member fees include one-year “Industry Partner” membership.
**Exhibit fees include; sign bearing the name of the exhibitor, one six-foot draped and skirted table and two chairs.
***Premium Booths are located near the stage, along the perimeter or in corner locations. Spaces will be pre-assigned and diagram will be provided.

Multi-booth discount of $50 off each additional booth available. Please make SSPNYS aware of any product demonstration you intend to do within your assigned space. Arrangements for dedicated electricity is available at an additional fee. Free wifi is available throughout the exhibit space however speeds may be affected by large usage amounts. SSPNYS cannot guarantee online access and suggests exhibitors arrange for dedicated wifi for their space should they need it. There is no outside food or beverage allowed for distribution to guests within the individual exhibit booths. SSPNYS will be providing a selection of hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar during exhibit hours.       

Booth Configurations  


Standard Booth: 6’ tabletop space configured in a straight line according to the provided diagram.
Premium Booth: 6’ tabletop space against perimeter walls (wider configuration).
There will be no booth sharing permitted.  


Set-up & Break-down


Set-up may begin at 9:00am on Sunday, June 7, 2020. All booths must be set-up by 12:30pm. The Expo will begin promptly at 1pm.Breakdown may start at 6:00pm following the Fall Fashion Preview & Industry Happy Hour which will happen on the Expo floor. Breakdown must be completed, and all materials removed by 8:00pm.    

Can I Demo and/or Sell Products or Services?    

Yes, absolutely! But some restrictions apply. Dedicated wifi may be needed for online sales. Please consult with the SSPNYS staff for all restrictions. 


Contract Deadlines

Early bird deadline is March 15, 2020 so please be sure to send in your contract with payment as soon as possible. Booth space will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We will make every attempt to honor specific location requests but cannot guarantee. SSPNYS reserves the right to adjust the booth layouts as needed. Cancellations received before May 15, 2020 and in writing will receive a 50% refund. NO refunds will be issued for cancellations on or after May 15, 2020 unless we are able to resell the space.             



The exhibitor agrees to protect, save and keep the Salon & Spa Professionals of NYS (also known as the NYS Association of Salon & Spa Professionals) and its staff members and volunteers and the Saratoga Springs City Center and it’s staff forever harmless from any and all damages or charges in violation of any law or ordinance, whether occasioned by the negligence of the exhibitor or the representatives, agents or employees of the exhibitor or those persons acting under the express or implied authority of the exhibitor. Exhibitor also agrees to comply with all applicable terms, conditions, rules and regulations of the Saratoga Springs City Center. The exhibitor assumes all responsibility and liability for all loss, damage or destruction of his/her property, employees, agents and guests.


The Salon & Spa Professionals of NYS, any officer, agent or employee thereof will not be liable for any loss, damage or destruction of exhibitor’s property for theft, fore, accident, or any other cause. The exhibitor also assumes full responsibility and all liability for all injury to any and all persons or property caused by the exhibitor, its agents, representatives or employees. The exhibitor will indemnify and hold harmless the Salon & Spa Professionals of NYS and the Saratoga Springs City Center, their members, directors, officers, agents, guests, representatives or employees against any and all liability whatsoever arising from any and all damage to property or personal injury or loss caused by the exhibitor, its agents, representatives, employees or any other such persons. Please have your insurance agent or company provide proof of general liability coverage by issuing a certificate of insurance naming the Salon & Spa Professionals of NYS as an Additional Insured Liability limits shall meet a minimum requirement of $1,000,000 per occurrence. The certificate of insurance must be received by May 15, 2020.    

Amendment to Regulations

All matters and questions not covered by these regulations are subject to the decision of the Salon & Spa Professionals of NYS. The SSPNYS shall have sole authority to promulgate, interpret and enforce all rules and regulations and to make any amendments necessary for the orderly conduct of the Expo.


Door Prizes & Raffles


We will be conducting raffle prize drawings throughout the Expo, with the first drawing at 1:30pm. If you would like to donate a show prize to be given out during the Expo, please note that on your contract. Exhibitors are also encouraged to offer booth prizes & promotional items for attendees, bags will be provided to attendees. Winners will be announced by SSPNYS and posted on our electronic signage and social media channels.
